Join a certified archaeological guide to explore the secrets of Pompeii, the world's most significant Roman ruins. Walk the ancient streets and witness history preserved.

Don't miss the chance to explore one of the world's most captivating historical wonders. Our expert-led Pompeii Group Tour departing from Naples is available 3 times a day, every week, and throughout the year, making this adventure accessible in any season.

Prepare to walk among the remnants of the ancient Roman city, which was dramatically submerged by incandescent lava and volcanic ash after the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Astoundingly, much of the streets, luxurious domus (villas), and even everyday objects and food items were unearthed, providing a preserved "snapshot" of life nearly two millennia ago.

Your comfortable journey begins with a convenient pick-up service provided from major hotels in Naples city center or a scheduled meeting point. In just 30 minutes, you will be transported from the modern vibrancy of Naples to the silent history of Pompeii.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our certified archaeological guide who will assist you with ticket purchases, ensuring a quick and seamless entry.

Once inside, you will be led to discover the foundations of Pompeii. You'll admire the most iconic sites, such as the efficient Thermal Baths, the majestic Basilica, and, of course, the intriguing frescos of the Lupanare, the largest and most famous brothel in the ruins. Its detailed wall paintings will allow you to relive the atmosphere and all the intrigues of that era. You will also make a stop at the Macellum, the central food market. Its tabernae (shops) located on the commercial streets will transport you back in time, to the bustling heart of the Pompeian economy.

Finally, the tour will take you to the House of the Faun, one of the most prestigious villas, named after the famous statue found there. You will have ample opportunities for striking photographs during brief scenic stops.

The full tour from Naples lasts approximately 3 hours, of which you will spend at least one and a half hours in intensive exploration inside the archaeological site. Your guide will expertly adapt the route based on weather conditions or crowd levels, and should any villas be undergoing restoration, they will be promptly replaced with equally fascinating alternatives. You won't want to miss this immersive, awe-inspiring experience!
